How to use DDS?

Only works if you are connected to your hub wifi network. Add them as a Bookmark to you favourites or to your smartphone homescreen.

A_Get ready for the water

  1. Setup the Hub and connect all cables

  2. Turn on all Trackers and the Hub (make sure the caps are on the connectors)

  3. Check the flashing LED. After a few seconds. Pink is the color you want to see!

By default everything should be logging and syncing each time you turn on the hub and all tracker devices. Make sure that you deleted the loggings from old sessions, so you don't run out of storage. See in the section: Prepare for the next time.

B_On the water

the system is designed to need as less attention from you as possible. You could use it without doing anything on the water

Optional:

  • Watch live data such as wind measurements and data the sensor data from the boats.

  • Place the buoys with the BuoyTrackers attached and turned on. It will record the position each buoy.

  • Set Marks on the timeline (for races and important situtations) and write comments on the "Story" Dashboard. hub.local:1880/ui/#!/1 - it helps you to find important.

  • Manage Cameras via the external app.

  • Turn off logging (only record what you need)

C_Prepare Debriefing

Before you create files for the debrief/ analysis, make sure all devices are propably synced. For that check the rsync status on the control dashboard: hub.local:1880/ui/#!/1

  1. Open the "Analysis Preparation" Dashboard: hub.local:1880/ui/#!/2

  2. Create the files that you want to include in your debriefing/ analysis.

  3. Download the files from the data explorer.

  4. Place all files in Njord Anlytics Application.

D_Prepare for the next time

Before you delete data, make sure to save data that you want to keep for a long term analysis. All created analysis file will be placed in an archive. You can see the archive in the data explorer and delete it from the dashboard, where you delete all other data storages.

  1. Open the "Delete" Dashboard: hub.local:1880/ui/#!/3

  2. Charge all devices!
