The 3D model is a combination of 4 parts: Outerbox, Lid, Modulerack and the Plugwall.

Outerbox

The Outerbox is the shell of the device. With the multi-color printing option, it is possible to implement the Logo and a identifier number.

Position the model with the text on the print bed. Print it together with the Lid.

Materials:

  • Outerbox: PETG Translucent in grey

  • Number & D: PETG HF in black

  • S: PETG in pink

Start by the default setting for PETG and change the following:

  1. Profile: 0.12mm fine

  2. Strength/ Walls: 3

  3. Strength/ Shells/ Top surface pattern: Aligned Rectilinear

  4. Strength/ Shells/ Top shell layers: 7

  5. Strength/ Shells/ Bottom surface pattern: Aligned Rectilinear

  6. Strength/ Shells/ Bottom shell layers: 7

  7. Strength/ Internal solid infill pattern: Aligned Rectilinear

  8. Strength/ Sparse infill density: 100%

  9. Strength/ Sparse infill density: Rectilinear

  10. Strength/ Infill/Wall overlap: 100%

  11. Strength/ Infill direction:

  12. Speed/ Initial layer: 15 mm/s

  13. Speed/ Initial layer infill: 15 mm/s

Lid

Same print settings as the Outerbox.

Modulerack

Print Settings

The Rack holds all modules. The holes are aligned with the holes on the modules. With threaded insert and plastic screws it is easy to hold the modules in place. It ensures also that no antenna is covered.

Material: PETG Translucent in grey

Start by the default setting for PETG and change the following:

  1. Profile: 0.12mm fine

  2. Strength/ Walls: 4

  3. Strength/ Shells/ Top surface pattern: Rectilinear

  4. Strength/ Shells/ Bottom surface pattern: Rectilinear

  5. Strength/ Internal solid infill pattern: Rectilinear

  6. Strength/ Sparse infill density: 45%

  7. Strength/ Sparse infill density: Rectilinear

  8. Strength/ Infill/Wall overlap: 100%

  9. Speed/ Initial layer: 30 mm/s

  10. Speed/ Initial layer infill: 70 mm/s

Plugwall

The Plugwall holds everything together and it also provides the holes for the button and the connector. Print it with the front facing the print plate. With the use of PLA as support material, you can ensure that the button and connector will fit.

Material: PETG HF in black

Start by the default setting for PETG and change the following:

  1. Profile: 0.12mm fine

  2. Strength/ Walls: 3

  3. Strength/ Shells/ Top surface pattern: Rectilinear

  4. Strength/ Shells/ Bottom surface pattern: Rectilinear

  5. Strength/ Internal solid infill pattern: Rectilinear

  6. Strength/ Sparse infill density: 100%

  7. Strength/ Sparse infill density: Rectilinear

  8. Strength/ Infill/Wall overlap: 100%

  9. Strength/ Infill direction:

  10. Speed/ Initial layer: 70 mm/s

  11. Speed/ Initial layer infill: 30 mm/s

  12. Support/ Enable: yes

  13. Support/ Raft interface: PLA

  14. Support/ Initial layer expansion: 8 mm

  15. Top Z distance: 0 mm

  16. Bottom Z distance: 0 mm

  17. Base pattern: Rectilinear

  18. Base pattern spacing: 0.05 mm

  19. Interface pattern: Rectilinear Interlaced

  20. Top interface spacing: 0 mm
